For this latest building on the Neyrpic site, developed by Apsys, the studio designed the façade of the future cinema in collaboration with Olivier Palatre. We translated a graphic brick pattern to an architectural scale. Using fin-shaped extrusions arranged on a structural grid, we varied the angle of each module to create a sense of motion reminiscent of a hydraulic bitmap. The V-shaped inclination of the fins gives each element a unique light catch, generating a dynamic ripple effect. Together, the fins form subtle grooves that interact with sunlight, revealing shifting tones throughout the day and creating a living, ever-changing façade.
