Conqueror Bench
Silvera
The “Conqueror” urban bench was designed at the request of the M comme Marseille exhibition (Marseille capitale de la culture 2013). This project reflects the spirit of the Studio: a contemporary object that blends into the city while retaining its uniqueness. Inspired by maritime forms, the “Conquérant” bench is constructed from a simple assembly of a top and a base. These two parts fit together like a ship’s hull on its base. Convinced of the need to make room for innovative materials. The overhang of the top underlines, with elegant lines, the structural qualities of UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete), an innovative high-performance concrete designed and manufactured in France.
