Info

After a first collaboration on the restaurant “Sablé” in Quiberon in 2023, the Riviera Village Group entrusted Studio Briand&Berthereau with the interior architecture and furniture design for the bike shop at its Le Phare outdoor hotel, located on the northwest tip of Île de Ré. The building, made up of four containers facing each other, was designed by the architectural firm Atelier Pamplonne. The 120 m² space is divided into four sections, each serving a distinct function: reception facing the shop, and a bike workshop opposite the showroom. In the center of these four sections is a large circulation area with two benches—one with a small table and another with planters. The customer experience flows smoothly and naturally through these four areas. All the furniture and interior architecture were crafted from solid okoumé and galvanized metal tubing. These materials were chosen to address the corrosive challenges of the environment. For the wood and metal joints, we drew inspiration from the formal language of bicycle frames.
