Info

Located on the Grands Boulevards, “Ici” is the most important independent bookshop opening in Paris, with almost 40,000 references and a 500 m² space on 2 floors. Designed as a true living space, the bookshop is ideal for events, meetings and, of course, book discovery. Its layout is designed to offer Parisians a breathing space in the city, like a second home where it’s pleasant to read. The bookshop includes a Coutume café, a children’s area, an exhibition space and an Agora area. The layout is simple and fluid, so that customers can easily find their way around, feel at ease and exchange ideas. For this meaningful project, the studio worked on an integral approach, designing the interior architecture, graphic identity and signage. Responding to a challenging program, the interior design is in line with the studio’s values: a clear, graphic and long-lasting aesthetic. Our response was to offer a contemporary vision of the bookshop, with frugal solutions and an intuitive understanding of materials and uses.
