Steel design house +-

Real estate developer’s Apsys asked us to design sur-mesure furniture for its design house (reception, welcoming and meeting of the Steel center) in Saint Etienne. Referring to the work of metal, signature of the architecture, we worked with a principle of curved aluminum sheets which gives the impression of a "draped" effect, giving the whole a lightness and a particular softness. . To contrast with metal, we also used walnut which complements the architecture of the furniture. The flagship piece of furniture is a large dividing element that simultaneously acts as a bookcase, a filter and an exhibition space, the different sizes of the interstices allow you to give rhythm, by alternating different heights.
