At its Paris headquarters, the Figaro Group commissioned Studio Briand&Berthereau to design an 1100 m\u00b2 space spread over two floors, including an auditorium, a reception room and a press reception area. The Studio’s approach is to accompany visitors on their way to the auditorium on R-1, designing spaces that are welcoming and interactive. For the 19th-century sections, the Studio’s approach was minimalist and museum-like, to emphasize the historical aspect. Access to the other spaces is via the staircase, whose masterful lustre accompanies the descent. On R-1, the reception room was designed like a Parisian bistro, welcoming visitors in an atmosphere that encourages conversation and waiting. Adjacent to this, the 180 m\u00b2 auditorium can accommodate 150 people. The Studio’s aim was to create a comfortable, convivial space with a homely feeling, underlined by the use of textiles and wood.
