Real estate developer\u2019s Apsys commissioned us to design custom furniture for its design house (reception and meeting facilities for the Steel Center) in Saint Etienne. Referring to metalwork, an architectural signature, we used curved aluminum sheets to give the impression of a \u201cdraped\u201d effect, giving the whole piece a particular lightness and softness. To contrast with the metal, we also used walnut to complement the structure of the furniture. The centerpiece is a large divider that simultaneously serves as a bookcase, a filter, and an exhibition space.
